Sharpshooter

Here's some more character design work for that project I'm working on. All those bird drawings are kind of paying off.

Dream Team

So, here are a few characters I drew up for a card game my friend is making.  He designed the game system from the ground up, and on my end it's incredibly fun designing the heroes based on their stats and abilities.  These are examples of each of the 5 classes; mage, warrior, cleric, fighter, and archer, respectively.

Studystudystudy

Here are a few recent studies and doodles for my own amusement and practice.  I wish that lion looked more like a lion... something is just not quite right about it.  Maybe the lower jaw is too long?  I dunno.  Also, skin has become waaay too much fun to paint. =3

It was the biggest mistake of his/her life...

This is my final for my "Imagination and visual literacy" class.  The assignment was to design an illustration to the prompt "It was the biggest mistake of his or her life."  Hopefully my take makes sense, I think I've become a little more visually literate as a result of this class.  Imagination though?  Maybe.

The Dig

"...the most remarkable discovery came near the end of the fourth day.  Connections can undoubtedly be made between the subject matter of the monument and the belief systems of the early kingdoms, though dating the work has proven troublesome.  Our initial estimates place it well before our oldest known artifacts, the implications of which are extraordinary, assuming no grievous errors have been made.  Our conclusions are being held until further research is done.  Efforts to interpret the meaning of the various cells are ongoing."
